Parkview Swim and Dive Fans,

Yay our first meet is right around the corner and that means the activity for the team is going to pick up quickly.  So make sure to check your email and OUR WEBSITE to keep up-to-date.

First, a huge thank you to Annie-Laurie McCulloh, Amanda Harbin, Crystal Ward and Kathy Spruiell for setting up the potluck picnic and making sure we were able to use that amazing space.  And thank you to all the families who brought awesome sides, amazing desserts and drinks!  And a special shout out to Lisa Petmecky for hosting the ladies team for their over night party.

We have a lot going on this week:

• Team Pictures will be on Thursday 11/1, 6:45 AM (before first bell) in the old gym. Student athletes will get their team shirts right before the picture.
• Our first team dinner hosted by the Fountain's (5350 Country Lake Court) is also on Thursday, 11/1 at 7:00 PM.  All team members should bring $3 to help cover the cost of the meal, boys bring desserts to share Thursday night. All bring drinks to help stock concessions – see detail on drinks below.
• Please help by donating drinks to stock concessions for future home meets. Freshmen bring a case of bottled water. Sophomores bring a 12 pack of Coke in cans. Juniors bring Powerade, we are looking for the 20 oz bottles. Seniors bring a 12 pack of Sprite in cans.
• The first meet will be on Saturday 11/3 at West Gwinnett Aquatic Center, first splash at 7:20 PM – bus will leave Parkview at 5:30 PM – be sure your team member is at Parkview early to ride the bus.  Keep in mind, this is a unique 4 way meet between the fastest teams in Gwinnett County.  Not everyone will compete in this meet as our entries are limited given the number of teams. The Coaches will let your athlete know if they are entered or not.
