Parkview State Swimmers and Parents,

It's state week.  The most exciting week of the year!

The most important part of this email for your swimmers is coming next, the food part.  On Friday, after 5th period, our state swimmers will be getting out of class, hanging out together on the Parkview campus relaxing and having lunch as a team.  We will need every swimmer to bring $10 to cover lunch.  The team will be providing them heavy snack bags for later in the day since the prelims session doesn't even start until dinner time.  That said, we will bringing in foot long subs from Publix for lunch for each swimmer.   We are offering three choices: Turkey; Ham; or Ultimate which is Ham, Turkey and Roast Beef.  Each can be made on wheat or white sub roll.  Please have your swimmer reply to this email to order either a turkey, ham or ultimate and select their bread choice, wheat or white.  Cheese, and all of the veggies and condiments will come on the side - so they can fix their sub their way once it arrives.  In order to get our order in, I need your sub order from your swimmer in email by 12:00 PM on Wednesday 2/6.  In addition to subs, we will bring in fruit, chips and water.

Now for the rest of the State Details:

• Both Prelims and Finals will cost you $15 to get in as a spectator, the meet will also be streamed
• Buy your ticket, find out about parking and see lots of other details including details about streaming  HERE
• Warm Ups on Friday are 4:20 PM to 5:20 PM, the doors open approximately 2 hours before warm ups
• The kids will be taking a bus to Tech
• The prelims session will start at 6:00 with women and men competing in two pools for prelims, the men will be swimming in the pool closest to the main score board, the women will be in the east pool closest to the diving well
• As a parent group let's all try to sit close to one other and really be loud and proud, please wear orange and sit next to another parent on our team!

And lastly just a friendly reminder about the state team dinner tonight 5:30 PM at the Petmecky's.
