Hey gang!  It was great to see everyone at the picnic last Saturday.  Beautiful day, excellent food, and exciting to see the 31 new families that have joined the team this year. 

Now it's time to hit the water.  We have opening meets for swim and dive and guess what...we can actually ATTEND the meets!  That's right - spectators are allowed and welcomed!!  So show up and show out for your athletes as they start a new campaign.    Here's the schedule:

10/30, 1pm:  Kickoff 6 Dive Meet, Mountain Park Aquatic Center.  Divers lead off with an afternoon meet close to home.   Warm-ups at noon, girls will go first at 1pm, boys to follow.

10/30, 7:20pm:  Meet of Champions:  Parkview/Brookwood/Mill Creek/North Gwinnett, West Gwinnett Aquatic Center, 4488 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Norcross.  Note: this is a limited roster because of the quad meet.  All other meets this season will have full team participation.  They typically report at 5:15 for departure at 5:30.    

• New Volunteer Requirement this week: we are responsible to provide five timers (have those) and a Hytek Computer Verifer that we still need.  Please reach out to Kelly Littrell, our Volunteer Coordinator (email [email protected]) if you'd like to do the verifier role.  

And thanks everyone for the excellent fundraiser participation, both selling popcorn and via cash donations. It looks like we'll be at 90% of our fundraising goal by the time the sale ends tonight.
