Hi everyone!   We're off to a rip-roaring start to the season.  Here are some highlights from last week:

Kickoff Dive Meet:   Parkview boys dominated. Thomas Forbes 1st; Haven Maruyama 2nd; Luke Pearson 4th!  Grace Littrell placed 4th & Marley Gunn placed 8th for the girls

Meet of Champions: A strong showing for the boys, finishing second to Mill Creek and posting 6 event wins, including a 1-2-3 in the 50 free (Josh Kim, Jack Dunbar, Tyler Wooldridge) and a 1-2 finish in the 100 breaststroke (Josh Kim, Russell Hart).   By the way, Josh Kim won all four of the events he participated in.   Our girls have a lot of talent up and down the roster as well, highlighted by an impressive 3rd place finish in the 200 medley by Hannah-Claire Jowers, Abigail Sanders, Kara Robinett and Isabella De Leon.

Here's what's coming up this week:

November 6, 10:30am, Team Brunch. Hosted by the McCord and Klerk families at 4270 Weston Drive, Lilburn.  Athletes should bring $5 to offset the host cost of the dinner.  Girls, it's your turn to bring desserts. 

November 6, 7:20pm, Dual meet vs. Mill Creek. The meet is at West Gwinnett Aquatic Center, 4488 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Norcross.  Both swimming and diving will occur at this meet.  Team buses will depart Parkview at 5:30pm and warm-ups will start at 6:20.  Volunteers, please confirm your participation with Volunteer Coordinate Kelly Littrell via email at [email protected].  Check the team website job sign-up (green button next to the meet) to confirm your reporting time, and ff you can't make it, please arrange for your substitute.  

The meets are open to spectators.  Please come to the meet! It's a dual meet so there will be plenty of seating and it will go fast.  Wear orange!
