Hi everyone - welcome to December!   This week's a bit challenging:  we're the home team, with enhanced responsibilities, and our meet is on Friday night in Norcross.  The divers also have a second meet on Saturday at Mountain Park! We really need some folks to step up and take volunteer responsibilities so we can have a good meet.  Here are this week's schedule details:

Team Dinner, Thursday Dec 9, 6-7:30pm, Wilson Home, 5271 Miller Rd, Lilburn.
Bring $5 to fund the meal.  Girls, it's your turn to bring desserts.  

Friday, Dec 10, 7:20pm, Home Meet vs. Norcross/Shiloh at West Gwinnett Aquatic Ctr, 4488 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Norcross.   

• Students should be at Parkview at 5:15 for the bus ride to the meet.  Bus return ETA to Parkview at10:30pm, but text your athlete that night for specific info.
• We still need the six volunteers for the meet; sign up by clicking on the green JOB SIGNUP OPEN in the calendar entry 
  • Four lane timers, to arrive on pool deck at 6:50pm
  • Two meet tear-down, immediately following the end of the meet, est. 9:30pm
• Please allow enough travel time for rush hour traffic.
• Shadow training opportunities during this meet for Hytek, Console, Meet Director volunteer positions: we need to build depth in these roles for this year and future years.  Come down to the pool for some on-the-job training, observing the technical team during meet set-up, the 50 free, dive meet set-up, and the 100 free.  Cheer on your athlete the rest of the time! Saturday, Dec 11, 1pm,  Gwinnett 11 Dive Invitational Meet, Mountain Park Aquatic Center.  Warm-ups at noon, meet start at 1.  Not sure who's going first, boys or girls.
