This week at Parkview Swim & Dive, January 5-10
January 5th
Welcome back everyone! We are resuming the season with The Battle of Five Forks - the most intense meet of the season vs. our biggest rival, BROOKWOOD. Here's the news you can use.
- Saturday January 8, noon-2pm: Team Lunch at Lilburn City Park, 76 Main Street, NW, Lilburn. Hosted by the Littrell family, the athletes will be treated to an Italian carb-loading feast at the Gartrell Nash Pavilion, which is located right next to the playground. Ideal parking is on Railroad Ave NW. Athletes, please bring a $5 donation to help absorb the cost of the meal. We'd also appreciate it if 5-6 boys would each bring a case of drinks (water, sports drink, or soda) for the event. Please email Kelly Littrell ([email protected]) if you are able to donate drinks.
- Saturday January 8, 7:20pm: Battle of Five Forks vs. Brookwood and Senior Night, Mountain Park Aquatic Center. Warm-ups at 6:30, athletes should arrive at 6:15.
- Senior
Night activities: collectively, both schools will be recognizing over
30 seniors for their time, commitment, and accomplishments at their respective programs.
- Parents of seniors: Please have your photo board at the aquatic center by 6pm so we can set up the display ahead of spectator/athlete arrival.
- Recognition will take place after the dive meet. Parents of seniors are asked to join their athlete on the pool deck for the recognition.
- Please contact Kelly Hart at [email protected] if you have any questions about Senior Night
- Volunteers: we are the VISITING team for this meet, and are still looking for a timer volunteer. Please reach out to Kelly Littrell at [email protected] or me at [email protected] if you can cover that role.
- We're expecting drum line performances and will have a trophy presentation at the end of the meet.
- Please remember that Gwinnett County requests that spectators and volunteers wear masks at the meet.
- Senior
Night activities: collectively, both schools will be recognizing over
30 seniors for their time, commitment, and accomplishments at their respective programs.
That's it for now - GO PANTHERS!!!
