Coach's Highlights from this past weekend:

• Allison Leow and Axel Garcia were named the athletes of the week.
• We had three event winners at the Clody Invitational: Makenna Carlton (100 free), Tadd Duffield (200 IM), and Lauren Hazelrigs (6 dives)
• Makenna got her first state cut of the season in the 100 free!
• Many of our year-round swimmers competed at senior state at Georgia Tech. There were a lot of best times! A special shout out goes to Jack Dunbar and Russell Hart who were members of several relay state championships. Russell Hart also took first in the 50 and 100 breastroke events!

Team Dinner Thurs Dec 8

Meets this Weekend at West Gwinnett Aquatic Center

Sat Evening 12/9:  Meet versus North Gwinnett; starts at 7:20pm

• Athletes should arrive at Parkview by 5:20 to ride the bus.
• All athletes are expected to ride the bus with the team to and from the meet.
• Athletes should be sure to wear their team t-shirt and jacket to the meet.

Team/ Individual Pictures Sat Dec 17th at Mountain Park Aquatic Center

4pm: (seniors) Senior group pictures/ senior individual pictures

4:45pm: (all athletes) Team Picture / individual pictures for underclassmen

Please attend the team picture even if you are not getting individuals. This will be our yearbook photo.

Our photographer will be Jordan Godfree who has worked at the Gwinnett Daily Post and has experience in sports photography. She has put together a sign up for anyone (seniors and others) who would like to get individual pictures. 

Cost for individual pictures: $20 for 3 high-res digital files. Poses/ outfits are up to the swimmer. They can choose to do swimsuit, windbreaker, tshirt, letterman jacket, etc. There are options to pay on the sign up form.

Team Holiday Party Friday Dec 16th

The team will have the annual holiday party right before our last meet of the semester. It will be at Hanarry Swim Clubhouse. There will be a white elephant gift exchange with a cost limit of $15. This is a great tradition for our team, so please plan for your child to participate.

"Future Panther" Meet Dec 17th

The Future Panther Meet will be to Dec 17th. Please help get the word out by posting the flyer on social media and forwarding to middle school and summer teams! Thank you!

State Meet Info

Many of our athletes have state cuts - and some are close! The State Meet looks a little different this year, so please note the following on your calendar:

Tues Jan 31 : Diving Events - 6-7A Schools AM, 1-5A Schools PM @ Westminster (Parkview is 7A, so morning. We will get more specific info closer to the event.)

Wed Feb. 1 : 7A Swimming (Prelims at 9 am, Finals at 6 pm) @ Georgia Tech
