Brookwood meet recap:

Great job Panthers! Congratulations to our seniors and THANK YOU to our senior parents. You guys are some of the BEST! Meet results are on our website. We came up short in the team score, but we want to give a shout out to our event winners:

Team Dinner this Thursday Jan 12th

Dinner will be at the Atkins Family home at 6:30pm. The address is 1163 Garner Creek Drive. As always, please send $3-$5 with your child to offset costs.

Friday Jan 13th, Meet vs Lanier

Mountain Park Aquatics Center. We are the HOME team!

All athletes must be sure to:

• Arrive by 6:15 pm
• Wear team t-shirt, team suit, and orange caps!! 
• Warm up 6:40;   Meets starts at 7:20pm

Parents, wear your orange and bring the energy! This will be a last chance to qualify for county for many of our athletes, so we are excited to support them!

Volunteers still needed for Friday's meet! All slots!!

Team Dinner to Support our County Swimmers & Divers; Monday Jan 16th

• Who: ALL swimmers, divers, and coaches are invited to this dinner!! (even if you are not competing at county, please come help make posters and support the team!)
• When: Monday evening, Jan 16th, at 5:00 pm 
• Where:  Lake Lucerne Clubhouse: 1989 Lake Lucerne Rd SW Lilburn
• Hosted by: The Loew, Xu, Lin, Swinson Families

County Meet Info: Location West Gwinnett Aquatic Center

Boys Prelims are Thursday 1/19;    Girls Prelims are Friday 1/20

• On their day, swimmers will meet after 4^th period in the Pro Room of the New Field House (this is the building with the blue roof by the football field).

Finals for swimming are Saturday night 1/21  

For each session:

• Bus departs Parkview at 2:15pm, returns 10:30pm.
• Warm-up: 3:00 PM;   
• Start: 5:00 PM

County Meet Additional Info

• Parents and athletes have until Jan 12th to order County Apparel at this link: stores.inksoft.com. All purchased items will be delivered to our team coordinators at prelims. There will be a limited supply of apparel to be sold at the meet.
• Tickets for admission can be bought in advance at  https://gofan.co/app/school/GA87717. Please note that they WILL be accepting cash at the door.

• Our team will be responsible for four volunteer slots each day: One Timer, Traffic/Security Person, Heat Sheet/ Admission, and Worker Coordinator. Please contact Lorri Beeney at [email protected] if you can do one of these shifts. Parents of county swimmers should plan to do one.

Board Positions are OPEN for next year!

Hey underclassmen parents.... Next year, the following positions are open: President, Social Chair, and Treasurer. There may be other openings also as current board members shift around. We just need to know who is interested, so we can pair everyone with the right job. Thanks!!

State Meet Info

Many of our athletes have state cuts - and some are close! The State Meet looks a little different this year, so please note the following on your calendar:

• Tues Jan 31 : Diving Events - 6-7A Schools AM, 1-5A Schools PM @ Westminster (Parkview is 7A, so morning. We will get more specific info closer to the event.)
• Wed Feb. 1 : 7A Swimming (Prelims at 9 am, Finals at 6 pm) @ Georgia Tech
