Hello Panthers!

This Friday, we travel to the West Gwinnett Aquatic Center to compete against Duluth and Central Gwinnett. Athletes should arrive at Parkview at 5:15 p.m. The bus will leave at 5:30 p.m. The meet will begin at 7:20 p.m. as usual. We're looking forward to a great team meet this week! Many athletes are coming off of a successful Thanksgiving week of training and a successful Clody Invitational. Results from Clody Invitational meet are on the Parkview website. You can find county rankings here and state rankings are posted here.

Athletes of the Week
Congratulations to our girls' team athlete of the week, Emily Hillesheim. She is evidence that hard work over a long period of time pays off! She is doing great things as a swimmer and is a vital leader on the team.

Congratulations to our boys’ team athlete of the week, Liam Ellison. He continues to move closer and closer to a state qualifying time in the 100 butterfly. He is also showing improvement in other events and is doing great things in practice each day!

NG3 Teamwork Talk: Thursday mornings, 6:45 a.m.
This is the last talk of 2024! Head to Coach Brown’s room (15.114) on Thursday for a team-building early morning talk and special treat! NCAA Information Meeting
Parkview’s Counseling Department Chair Katie Mehlhorn will be hosting an NCAA Information Session this Thursday in B-Hall 11.116 during all A Lunches. (4A , 5A, and 6A). Athletes, especially 10th & 11th graders, are invited to come learn about college athletics. Come to the counseling department before school, during class changes, or after school to get a pass!

Team Meal & Holiday Party
A big thank you to the Ellison Family for hosting this week’s team meal and holiday party. Make plans to attend on Saturday, December 14 from 6-9 p.m. at the LDS Church on Cole Road. The holiday party features a white elephant gift exchange each year ($10 or less). Female athletes please bring a dessert to share.

National Anthem Musicians & Singers Needed
