FOR PARENTS
Volunteers Needed
As the season is winding down, please make sure you have fulfilled your four volunteer shift obligations. Our parent volunteers are essential to not only our meets, but also team activities and celebrations. We have some pressing volunteer needs as we get into the last month of the season. Please consider signing up!
Senior Night (Jan. 11)
Our Social Chairs still need a parent or two to help with setup before the meet and a few parents to help with the celebration during the meet. Please reach out to Adrianne Leonard if you are available to help.
Brookwood Meet (Jan. 11): Runner Needed
Our Volunteer Coordinators have a Runner shift open for this week’s meet. You can log in to SwimTopia and sign up or email Laurie Boltin.
Lanier Meet (Jan. 17): Timer Needed
There is one Timer needed for the team’s last meet (held at Collins Hill on Friday, Jan. 17). If you are able to fill this role, please log into SwimTopia and sign up.
County Meet (Jan. 22, 23, 25)
If your athlete has qualified for the County Meet, please look at the volunteer needs for all three sessions and sign up for one that fits your skills and schedule. Our team has been assigned specific roles for the meet, and volunteers are essential to the meet. You can log into your SwimTopia account and sign up.
County Meet Info
The Gwinnett County Swim & Dive Board has posted lots of information about the County Meet on its website, including admissions information ($9 and can be purchased on GO FAN. Heat sheets will be available for $6), schedule and streaming info. Athletes and parents can also stay up to date on the latest County info by following @gwinnettswimdive on Instagram or Facebook.
County Meet Ads
If parents would like to purchase an ad in the County Meet Program, payment and ads are due Monday, January 13. Sort of like a senior ad in the back of a yearbook, these ads offer opportunities to congratulate your senior or send a special cheer for your swimmer. Contact [email protected] for details.
