Great swim and dive meet last night! We competed well against a very talented and deep Brookwood team. The night was highlighted with recognition of our amazing class of 2025! We are so proud of their accomplishments!

Many individuals showed some great swims and personal bests. Zara Boyer and Emily Hillesheim got their first state qualifying times of the season!! Hannah-Claire Jowers and Tadd Duffield led the way with wins in individual events.

FOR ATHLETES

Friday’s Meet: Transportation to Collins Hill
There will be a short practice after school on Friday for those who can make it. Friday’s meet is at the Collins Hill Aquatic Center against Lanier High School. Athletes should be at Parkview by 5:20 p.m. The buses will leave at 5:30 p.m.

County Meet: West Gwinnett Aquatic Center
All sessions of the County Meet are at Gwinnett Aquatic Center. Athletes must go to school on the morning of the prelims and diving. Athletes will be excused from class in time to head to the meet.

Wednesday - Boys prelims - We will feed the boys lunch before getting on the bus.
Thursday - Girls prelims - We will feed the girls lunch before getting on the bus.
Friday - Diving - Boys warm ups begin at 1:15 with the meet beginning at 2:15 - girls should arrive by 3:30
Saturday - Swimming Finals - The bus will leave Parkview at 11:30 a.m.

County Meet Merchandise: Orders end today
The Gwinnett Swim Dive online shop for 2025 Senior shirts and official County merchandise is closing today at 10 p.m. There will be very limited offerings at the meet and sizes and specific items will most likely not be offered or sell out. Senior shirts will list the names of all seniors submitted by each team.

County Meal: Monday, January 20
For athletes who have qualified for the County Meet, make plans to attend the annual County Meal this Monday. A big thank you to the Breiding family for hosting. Stay tuned for details about time and location.

County Admissions & Heat Sheets
The Gwinnett County Swim & Dive Board has posted lots of information about the County Meet on its website, including admissions information ($9 and can be purchased on GO FAN. Heat sheets will be available for $6), schedule and streaming info. Athletes and parents can also stay up to date on the latest County info by following @gwinnettswimdive on Instagram or Facebook.

End of Season Banquet: February 24
Mark your calendars for the end of the season banquet to be held in the Parkview Cafeteria. Our hard-working Social Chairs Adrianne Leonard and Ginger Mercer are already planning for this event. If you have party-planning skills and/or would be available at 5 p.m. that day to help with setup, please go ahead and reach out to them.
