Console/Setup Volunteer Training at West Gwinnett
West Gwinnett Aquatic Center
Parent volunteers are an essential part of high school swim meets (which is why each family is required to complete 4 volunteer shifts), and while many meet roles don’t require any training – some do. Training for volunteers who will do meet setup, computers or console is happening THIS SATURDAY, October 18 at West Gwinnett Aquatic Center. Directions: 4488 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Norcross, GA 30071 We need several parents from our team trained in these areas – roles that often give you one of the best views of the meet and a greater understanding of the sport. Details are on our team calendar, but you can also learn more about the training here: https://gwinnettswimdive.org/training-information Please attend the training for the roles you intend to volunteer for: 1. 9:00am-10:30am: Setup / Breakdown of the equipment for meet setup 2.10:30am-1:00pm: Console training for the score table 3. 1:00pm-4:00pm: Computer operator / verifier as we are scoring the meet at the table on the deck |
