NOTES FROM COACH BROWN

Congrats on a great showing at the Meet of Champions! 

Special shout out to the girls who took first place! The girls placed first in 10 out of 12 events! Please visit our team website to view full meet results.

Also a shout out to our Athletes of the Week!

• Emily Hardy has qualified for state in four events and has taken first place in every race this season. Watch her times rise to the top of the state!

• Jude El-Alam won the 500 freestyle - his first race of his first ever high school meet - as a freshman!  State cut coming soon!

NEXT MEET:  Parkview vs. North Gwinnett 

• Saturday Nov 7th @ 7:20 PM
• Mountain Park Aquatic Center  
• Athletes should arrive by 6:15 PM (no bus.)
• Volunteers please check the arrival time for your job on the JOB SIGNUP link on the calendar on the team website. You must be logged in to the website to view.

MEDIA DAY this Tuesday during DLD

• 1:00 PM
• Parkview Theater Lobby
• Attire:
  • Team Swimsuit
  • Team Cap & Goggles
  • Letterman Jacket
• Seniors:
  • Wear Orange Shirt and White Jacket
  • It is very important that ALL SENIORS attend!
  • Senior photos will be taken

• This is a great opportunity for some awesome individual photos. See flyer attached for example

TEAM DINNERS

This week’s Team Dinner will be Thursday, November 5th hosted by the Martinez, Persell, & Snyder families:

• Thursday, November 5th
• 6:00 - 8:30 PM
• Cedar Creek Swim & Racquet Club
• 853 Angevine Court SW, Lilburn 30047
• Girls bring desserts - Boys bring drinks
• We will have basketball & pickleball. Please bring your own pickleball equipment, but please label it.
• Dinner will be a cookout - hamburgers, veggie burgers, hotdogs, and S’mores

(Please note this dinner was moved to Thursday night so that we can support the football team on Friday night.)
